The Guest: “Everybody gets hurt, but not everybody gets over it” Brian Fleming helps people develop more personal resilience. He is a Purple Heart recipient, Author & Resilience Speaker. He served as a Team Leader in an Infantry Platoon with the US Army’s 10th Mountain Division fighting the ground war in Afghanistan. While deployed, his vehicle was blown up twice and he was severely wounded by a suicide bomber in Kandahar who exploded 3-feet away from him. After 14 months of rehabilitation and reconstructive surgery, he wrote 4 books and turned his experience into a mission to help others win their life’s toughest battles.
